Bike thefts in Worcester

Bike Worcester made a Freedom of Information request asking about bike thefts in Worcester. We asked the following questions:

1. Number of bicycle (including e-bikes,  tricycles,  recumbents and handcycles) thefts in Worcester City in May 2020 and June 2020.
2. Number of arrests made in relation to above.
3. Number of bikes returned to owners.
4. Number of police bike marking sessions in Worcester City in May and June 2020.

We got the following answers:

1. There were 89 bike thefts during May and June 2020.
2. There were two arrests.
3. Six bikes were returned to their owners.
4. The police held no bike marking sessions in Worcester City during May and June 2020.
